ThinReaders Review & $25 Amazon GC Giveaway

ThinReaders Review and $25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

I don’t know about you, but I can never find my reading glasses when I need them. I’ve gotten so I leave a pair of readers in the car, in my purse, randomly scattered around the house and STILL I can’t find them when I need them! And, I really need them!  I cant read the coupon dates or any fine print.  My husband even bought me a magnifying glass for Christmas!
Then I saw ThinReaders. ThinOptics sent me a set to review: a great Android phone cover that has the ThinReaders tucked neatly inside.   These little glasses are really cool looking and they come with a case that fits on my smartphone! You know I’m never far from my phone, right? These readers fit right on the back of the phone so they are always there when I need them.

Now instead of carrying around a heavy glasses case, hanging them on my shirt or a chain around my neck I can simply slip these readers out of the case and onto my nose and use them in a second.

They’re fun too, every time I pull these out at a restaurant everybody wants to know where I got them and try ‘em on! When Im at church, I just pull them out of my cell-phone case and I can read my Bible with ease!  These are designed so they work for most people who need readers, so you can share them, but hey, at these prices get your own!

ThinReaders are designed to sit lightly on your nose without pinching. The designers went through over 200 test versions before they got the design just right.  They’re light and comfortable to wear and fit any face. The lenses are made of poly-carbonate just like other high-end prescription glasses making them incredibly durable.

  1. I generally need them when Ive been on the computer too long or when Im reading something fairly small. The truth is that I am needing them more and more.
  2. Im a teacher, so when I grade papers I find myself in need of reading glasses! These glasses look perfect!
  3. Before cataract surgery I never needed glasses to read, but needed them to drive and see far away, now I need readers to read and no glasses for driving, and this has been a difficult changes, and I leave glasses all over and then still cant find them when I need them
  4. This may seem strange but the only time I need them is when I am driving. I can not wear my prescript glasses for driving.just my reading glassesit is odd.
  5. I started with readers about 5 years ago or so. I too have a pair in each room of the house, in my purse, a pair at church. Theyre everywhere, lol. I did finally go to the eye doctor 2 or 3 years ago & got my first bi-focals, but I still prefer my readers. I cannot see anything if I dont put my glasses on. They go on first thing in the morning & stay on all day. I guess I should clarify that, I can see to walk through the house. I can see the tv from the couch. I can see to drive without them. But if I want to read anything (the computer, a book) or do anything (crochet, bead, etc), I have to have glasses on.
  6. I am farsighted (it runs in the family). I need reading glasses for anything that involves me having to read, look at the computer, look at a menupretty much anything that includes me having to look at something closely.
  7. I dont actually use reading glasses, because I wear glasses all the time. My mom uses them sometimes though, I think usually later in the evening when her eyes are tired.
  8. I use them all the time now for reading and phone and computer work. Karma is getting me back for holding things far away from my mom and saying need arm extensions, Mom?
  9. In this family, its not me who needs reading glasses. Im blind as a bat anyways & wear progressive glasses all the time! But my hubby has started to need reading glasses, and talked with his eye doctor about it just last week!
  10. These sound like something I could really use. I am always misplacing my glasses also. Thank you for sharing
