Limitless Lotion Review
I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.
Do you use pain relieving lotions or gels? How about pain relieving creams or rub-ons? I've used all of these. When you live with chronic pain, like I do, you'll try anything to feel better. I deal with pain everyday, because I have arthritis, scoliosis, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and an auto-immune disorder.
The main problem I have with pain relieving gels and rub-ons is that they break me out in a rash. My skin is very sensitive because I also have Mast Cell Activation disorder. My body attacks itself, so it will certainly attack a product with a petroleum base. Gel products have that. So, even if the gel pain reliever numbs the pain, the rash stays with me for literally months!
Those gels get thrown away at my house. In comes Limitless Lotion. It's a natural lotion with no petroleum products. This wonderful product is water-based and is a Cannibimimetic Topical. Is this a CBD oil product? No! It emulates CBD, but research done by this company has shown that other compounds are just as effective at pain relief, without cannabinoids. A Cannibimimetic only mimics the benefits of pain relief found in cannabinoids, without having any cannabinoids in the Limitless Lotion.
My pain can occur in many places on my body. I have ankle, knee, shoulder, neck and back pain. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome means that my joints are unstable and so they hurt and the surrounding muscles ache, too. If I do activity or housework, the muscles will throb severely. Even riding in the car causes back, hip and knee pain. I decided to try the Limitless Lotion on these joints and muscles and see what would happen.
The directions were simple. All you do is squirt some on and rub it in to the skin. The smell is nice and extremely mild (almost no smell). I'm very sensitive to getting migraines from fragrances, too. I had no problems with Limitless Lotion. I rubbed the Limitless Lotion into my knees and ankles. In a few minutes, they felt a little bit better. So, I re-applied the Limitless Lotion. The effect was even better.
Now, the real test was to come. The most severe pain is always my neck. Because I have scoliosis, the spine in my neck is completely straight (instead of a gentle curve). I also have degeneration of the disks and arthritis. My neck hurts constantly and the only thing that helps is to put a huge Lidocaine patch on the back of my neck. Well, that looks very unattractive!
So, I applied a generous amount of Limitless Lotion to my neck and rubbed it in. It really did bring down the pain level. I continue to use the Limitless Lotion, especially on my neck. This is the constant pain, which causes knots and tension headaches. If I remember to rub it in first thing in the morning, it can really reduce the pain level and headache level. I know nothing can take away every pain, but Limitless Lotion really makes my day better by giving me more freedom to enjoy less pain.
