Light Adventures

Our traveling adventures have been interesting.  They're not adventures that are thrilling, like rock climbing.  But, anytime we're not home it's difficult, just because of my various illnesses.  Is it easy for you to be away from home?

At home, I have my couch to rest on all day and even eat meals on when I'm too dizzy to sit up.  When I'm visiting my family away, it's hard to explain why sitting up at the table is so hard.  And, it's hard to explain why I can do it sometimes and not others.  They also eat out many times each week at local restaurants, and I'm not sure what I'll have an allergic reaction to.  So, I eat very plain foods, such as a baked potato or french fries.

The wi-fi only works in the kitchen, so it's very hard to write and keep up with Homeschool Insights.  I hope you'll all be patient with me during this traveling time.

Our puppy is very funny when we travel.  He gets nervous and wants to cuddle next to me all the time.  I'm thankful he hasn't made any messes in the house!  He's very friendly to everyone and they all love him.

One of our adventures was to babysit these cute little chicks.  One escaped yesterday and was very distressed, until he re-joined his siblings.  We also had front-row seats of a mother-bird as she continuously fed her babies.

As you can see,  we have very light-weight adventures.  If I didn't feel so bad, I would be having a more physically exciting vacation.  But, I feel terrible, and that's just how it is.  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
