  2. One holiday tradition we have is every year every One gets a new tree ornament. Whether it's personalized or one of meaning. Now that my sons have families of their own we continue it plus they had quite a collection when they moved out!

  6. Our children come down for thanksgiving and after dinner we put up the tree with our grandchildren. We love the look on the kids faces with excitement and stories of Santa coming. Then when we turn off the lights and we light the tree memories of a lifetime ❤🎄🎁

  10. Well, unfortunately since my sister moved, we can't do the same tradition we used to...but we used to all (the whole family) go and spend the night at her house! We would all stay up late playing card and board games, then we would get up in the morning, have breakfast and let the kids open up presents! We will figure something out, but it won't be exactly the same. Happy Holidays everyone!

  17. Today I just wrapped 31 presents for my 87 yr old mother. This Holiday Traditions I have been doing about 10+ years, it started because I was not going to be able to go home for Christmas. So I mailed my mother 25 gifts that she could open one a day starting Dec 1. My mother is like a kid about Christmas and she loved getting to open a present ever day. On Dec 26 she called me and informed me that she was out of present and there was still 6 days left in the month. Some of the presents are from the Dollar Tree some a little more expensive. I am on the hunt all year long, I keep a empty drawer in my dresser and if I see any thing for her I just pick it up and in the drawer it goes.

  19. I live with my dad to take care of him (cook, clean, shopping, laundry, etc) and my mom lives at an Assisted Living home, so every year we bring her home on the Holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, birthdays and I make a good meal for us all. She has been at this house over half a dozen times in the year we have lived here, but every time she is here, in her mind, is her first. I miss having my mom as I knew her, but cherish the time as we know her now.
