EatSmart Pet Scale Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I was given an EatSmart scale in order to complete this review.  This sponsored post contains my review, which is 100% my opinion.

My dog Archie is almost two years old.  When we adopted him from the Humane Society, he weighed 15 pounds at 9 months of age.  He was the cutest puppy and was in very good health.  When we took him to the vet for his shots, we learned that he would be weighed each year.

When we took him for his next check-up he weighed 16 pounds.  They said this was a good weight for him, because of his breeding.  He is a mix of Chihuahua and Bichon Frise.  He is a light eater, but begs for snacks when we're eating.  We try not to give him human food, but sometimes do.  This made me curious to check his weight on a more regular basis.

When I was offered the chance to try the new EatSmart Baby/Toddler/Pet Scale, I was thrilled.  This would be the perfect way to keep track of Archie's growth at home.  I certainly didn't want to bother heading to the vet all the time to weigh him.

The EatSmart Baby/Toddler/Pet Scale is wonderful!  This handy scale is slender, which makes it easy to store.  It uses 2 AAA batteries, that were included in the package.  It's also very light-weight, which is important for me.

The scale came with easy to follow directions, and I began right away to set it up.  I just turned on the power button and the LED screen came on.  It was set for kg, so I changed the setting to pounds with just one click.

If you have a tiny pet, don't worry.  The scale registers a weight as low as 0.5 ounce all the way to 44 lbs (20kg).  The scale is easy to clean plastic and looks great with any decor.  It's easy to come back the next time and press the Memory Recall, to see what your pet weighed the last time.  This allows you to monitor the weight changes very accurately.

Kitties love the EatSmart Scale!

  1. Archie is adorable! We have two Bichon Frise, Glacier and Lily! Glacier tends to overeat and we have to watch her weight. Having this would save us a 40 minute round trip to weigh her at the vets! CINDY B
